Resize a 100 x 100 image into a 800 x 600 image (or larger) and you will get an ugly image.
You are turning 10,000 pixels into 480,000 pixels.
The software has to manufacture (guess) the other 470,000 pixels.
They can do things like that on television crime shows by using television magic (trickery).
You can't do that in the real world.
Here is an example of Hollywood Magic.
1. A surveillance shot of a parking lot.
2. Zoom into the surveillance shot.
3. Special crime fighter software clears up the image.
In reality ... I started with this picture:
I degraded the picture to make it look like surveillance footage.
..(left third of image)
T cropped that to make the center image.
I cropped the original picture to make the clear image.
I have a thumbnail that is 100x100 and I would like to use it for my background on my computer. The image has stuff that moves but when I resize it in my pics it makes it blury and the moving graphics dont work. Is there a way I can make the thumbnail bigger to fit my background? Operating system is Windows Vista. I have tried photobucket and a few others but not what I am looking for can any one help? thank you
