Does this mean the thread has been completely removed?

Don't know for sure JP

I have an idea what it was but don't know for sure.
It's probably the thread where I was exercising my freedom to say what I feel.
I guess someone was exercising their right to remove it. Sad

... I wouldn't take it personally if you had posts in that thread. I must have missed what happened that caused the removal vs. merely locking it out, but recognize that the Mods are using their best collective judgment. They aren't perfect, but I trust their reasons for the action were well thought out and for good reason even if we might not agree.

... unless I missed some reply from him I honestly don't see that. Also, his posts were offensive but I'm not sure even warranted removal. Leaving them for all to see his true colors might have been instructive, if you know what I mean.

I didn't enter anything into that thread John
by SteveGargini / November 6, 2004 4:31 AM PST

So my references would not have pointed to that thread.
My thread started with "filthy lies" or something like that, and I admit wasn't being very kind to Kerry, but the thread was first locked, and then it was removed, or at least I think it has been.
I cannot remember the part of the TOS that states we must be nice to all party leaders.
Does a moderator have the level of authority to remove a complete thread?
If so, I have to choose which left wing moderator carried out that devilish deed. Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
