Thoughts about Zune 2.0?

Oct 3, 2007 7:17AM PDT

Getting past the fact that Zune 2.0 is still at least a generation behind iPod's current models, what do you think about the new Zune?

Personally, I like that the screen is even bigger, albeit not by much. I felt it was at least one aspect that was better than iPod. Smaller overall size is definitely a plus, as well as the decision to stick with the touch pad, not a touch screen. I've always liked being able to switch tracks or volume with the Zune in my pocket.

WiFi capabilities will remain a gimick as long as the ability to purchase songs via wifi is left out, IMO. I also hope battery life is improved over the current gen's. 80 gb will definitely hold more video, but what's the use if you have to recharge after watching one full-length movie.
