Those funny Europeans...

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,156585,00.html

First the fictional Koran incident, now a story told long ago in a galaxy far, far away is "hurting" the US abroad. Doesn't much matter, these people are so set in their opinions that nothing would change them.
Although, I still can't seem to fathom why they don't see the clearer similarity between the Galactic Senate and the UN. Both are mostly powerless and achieve little, more for show than substance, are full of corrupt bureaucrats, and are merely shadows of what they used to be.

Lucas said he patterned his story after historical transformations from freedom to fascism, never figured when he started his prequel trilogy in the late 1990s that current events might parallel his space fantasy

I guess Lucas is also a "funny European", and holds some of the same opinions, because he makes some of the same statements.
