Those annoying Vista pop-ups

Is there anyway to get Vista to understand that when I click on a program to open I really do want it to open? It's constantly asking me if I trust the program, even though I've just used it a minute before. Is there a way to shut that feature down or get it to allow certain programs? It's annoying as all getout.

Two different things...

As previous posters have already indicated UAC is different from the notification you receive when running programs.

If you are receiving a notification when attempting to launch an installer that is normal, and by design. However, if you have a particular .EXE that continues to give this notification there is a way to disable it.

First, locate the .EXE file in question. Right click the file and select Properties. Towards the bottom right of the window, next to file attributes, you will see an "Unblock" button. By clicking this you will no longer receive a notification when attempting to run that program/installer.

Again, this is not in regard to UAC, but to the notification you often receive when installing an application or launching executables.
