Question

Thomson TB-30 (unlocked BT Falcon) VOIP issue

by DavidS_UK / August 14, 2014 9:14 PM PDT

Hi
Having successfully found the admin password and got into the web and phone interfaces of my Thomson TB-30 voip phone, and updated all the firmware to the latest manufacturer releases, I started to configure it.

I don't know what I have done but although the web interface works fine, the buttons on the actual phone are now totally dead, none do anything! Anyone have any idea on what I may have done and how to resolve it? I have done factory reset to no avail! Just to reiterate, the phone isn't bricked, the web interface works fine, but none of the actual keys on the phone do anything at all when pressed, soft keys, number keys, menu/cancel keys - all dead.

Thanks

Seems a warranty issue. Back to the shop.

So it's a failed phone?

Now it becomes one of those times you call them and get support. Some look for support in forums but this one looks too specific, that is it's not a generic enough issue such as Windows doesn't boot and such.

It's a specific device and needs specific support. Or it's just a phone that has gotten old and died.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
