piss and moan about "bush never visits..." (and the lower case b is intentional because that is how you use and say it.

"He ran the president into the ground," President Bush told reporters Tuesday as the two men took a break from a turn around the nearly quarter-mile track on the South Lawn.

Except for a very small minority (as in everything else) the members of the military and their families are supportive of President Bush and understand why we (as a nation and they as service members) are in Iraq and don't see it as a "quagmire" or "losing proposition".

Amputees and others who used to be medically retired are now staying in and re-enlisting in credible numbers -- not something people with low morale or who feel their personal sacrifices are a waste. They understand that exactly as Bush has stated many times (but the pitiable "cut and run" members of the far left with their minimal attention span haven't grasped or tried to forget) the war on terror will be fought on many fronts and where the terrorists are and that it is going to be a long haul as we can't expect immediate gratification in the real world.

Osama could be found in Iraq clutching a nuclear device and claiming that he was working with Saddam to bomb the US, yet the whiners would still find fault with the current war.
