Re:This pop up OR you have the MESSENGER SERVICE running.

Press Start, Run, type in SERVICES.MSC and press enter.

Find the MESSENGER service, STOP it, then right click and set it to DISABLED.

The messages from other people will now stop. And it's a common issue you can research on GOOGLE. It's another sort of SPAM.

That's if it is messenger service, if not download spybot.

If it's messenger service, the other two guys explained it exactly to the point, just as long as you restart your computer after doing that.

But if it isn't, download spybot and it should get rid of every single spyware on your computer:

http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10122137.html?part=104443&subj=dlpage&tag=button

When you run the program, there will be an update button, make sure you update it. I've had problems with that update, to correct this, there will be an option to download from Australia, make sure you download the updates from there. Once it's updated it and you click on "check for problems," it should say running bot-check 11,500 on the lower left corner of the screen, that's 11,500 known spywares, if it doesn't say that, restart the application and check if you've actually downloaded the updates.

Spybot will not catch it but AdAware will.
