An ipaq 4300/4355 windows CE 4.20, can I switch it to display in landscape mode??

It's not a stupid question, as your PDA was one debated over. It runs Windows Mobile 2003, but shortly after you purchased it Windows Mobile 2003SE was released, which added the ability to display in landscape mode. Though there were complaints, HP decided not to offer an upgrade to WM2003SE for your model. Since this feature is built into the operating system, there is no standalone program or patch to give you this ability. Some programs have the ability to orient themselves in landscape mode (such as some picture viewers and video players), but most programs, your keyboard, start menu, etc will be forever locked in portrait mode.

Thank you for the answer. Its too bad that the option is not available as it would be really nice at times, but I'm glad to know. Now I can stop searching the settings of my PDA thinking "I must have just not found it yet, I'm sure it's here!"
