Rant

This is a rant!

Apr 14, 2011 10:30PM PDT

New discussion, or in any reply, I type my subject line, then I TAB down to post my full message.

Only I don't get that now. The Tab key takes me to this darn formatting menu of options. If I continue using Tab it scrolls through all the options.

Sure, I could use the Toggle View, but it doesn't stick, meaning the next time I post the Tab key still starts at the Bold icon.

Rant over.

Petty, petty

Just grab your mouse, put the cursor in the box and click. Is that so hard? If so, you probably need the exercise. Just take it slowly until you build up those wrist muscles. Happy

Oooooh!

And that from the person who, just a short while ago, couldn't get his own Tab working right!! Devil

I agree though and that's what I am doing. But changing habits is hard, the older I get.

I filed this as a change request rather than a bug

low priority, but it has been filed. A bit annoying for me as well as I need to break a habit

We'll see what the developers can do.

Thanks!

Here's what they can do...
Apr 15, 2011 7:45AM PDT

Just have them add attribute tabindex and value -1 to every one of those button tags in class mooeditable-container - that will prevent them from being keyboard-focusable while still allowing them to be focused on mouse click. Alternatively, they can use Javascript to set those values on page load if they don't want to modify the HTML.

That's a quick, easy solution that should work in all browsers. Cool

Alright folks, this is fixed.

Give it try and if it doesn't work, do a SHIFT + Browser refresh.

Let me know if that is better.

Thanks!
