When I saw the tickertape on that topic last night as I watched tv in bed, I had exactly the same question come to mind, but didn't get out of bed to post it here in SE...... I seem to recall a number of years ago that a pharmacist in Cleveland, OH was actually allowed to refuse to sell birth control pills and condoms in his family owned 'drug store' because he was Catholic and only the 'rhythm' method was allowed . It made headline news in both print and tv, but I believe the reason he won the case at that time was because he had the right to refuse to sell a product rather than refuse to sell to an individual customer.
