My daughter picked up a small HP wireless mouse on eBay that has a great feature. When pointing, if you hold down the Shift key at the same time the cursor moves about ten times slower for the same wrist movement. This would be great for CAD, page layout, etc. where you need to position things very precisely; pixel-by-pixel, for example.
I tried, but the software that came with the wireless mouse does not work with a pointing device using PS2 or USB ports, only the wireless one. I use a trackball exclusively and would love to have this feature. Does anyone know of third-party software that provides this 'vernier' cursor movement?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
