If it doesn't have UMTS 1700...
by Pepe7 / June 11, 2009 11:54 PM PDT are SOL using it for 3G w/ T-Mo in the U.S. Typically they release UMTS 1700/2100 devices. ATT typically offers either 850/1900 or 850/1900/2100 UMTS devices, FWIW.

I got the Omnia HD with AT&T
by vidal_mejias / August 11, 2009 3:25 AM PDT

I'm now using the Omnia HD with AT&T. Of course my phone is the unlock version and it works normally with any issue. My sister for the Samsung S5603 which also work perfectly well.

Does 3G work with your unlocked At&t samsung omnia HD? If so, what area do you live in and is only good in big city areas?

Second - can you customize SMS ringtones? (have a mp3 set for text messages?)

Third - Does the SWYPE text message system work? (google SWYPE samsung text if you dont know what it is)

thanks man!
