DeLay woes prompt rush to refile forms

Members of Congress are rushing to amend their travel and campaign records, fearing that the controversy over House Majority Leader Tom DeLay will trigger an ethics war that will bring greater scrutiny to their own travel and official activities.

Some offices have sharply limited staff travel, and some members are not traveling at all because of the intense review they believe they will face in coming months

Since the minority party spent the majority of trip money in the past few years, this could get interesting Grin

The Democrats attempt to trump up ethics violations against ?The Hammer? may end up being a good thing. Much like the ?post office? scandal and the ?check kiting? scandal, maybe this will open the voting populous eyes to the amount of ?freebies? these guys are getting.

... I agree! And I don't care -- rather invite -- shining a light on what BOTH sides are doing. It's this liberal-media abetted selective outrage that gets to me. Maybe it will also open the eyes of the voters as to the hypocrisy of the left in this country? I can dream Wink
