They predicted Trump would be fodder for the comedy cannon..

Online fundraiser launched to 'help Trump get a Purple Heart'

A Purple Heart recipient has launched a GoFundMe page online to raise money to "help Trump get a Purple Heart" by sending him to a war zone.

“On 2 August 2016, a veteran handed Donald Trump a Purple Heart medal at one of his rallies in Virginia,” Cameron Kerr wrote on the fundraising site later the same day. “As with seemingly everything else in his life, Mr. Trump got one handed to him instead of earning it.

“That being said, as a Purple Heart recipient who earned one the old-fashioned way by returning from Afghanistan one leg lighter, I fully endorse his desire to earn one and would happily oblige his interest in doing so by being one of the first to chip in to fly him to the conflict zone of his choosing," Kerr continued. "After all, you’re never too old to follow your dreams.”

Kerr says his pitch to send Trump overseas is in jest and that the money he raises will actually go to help Syrian refugees.

You got to see the humour(and the generosity) in it....I hope I bought a smile to your face with this post.

That would probably be true with THIS administration since they are so soft on terrorism already (BO's letting another thirty or so out of Gitmo according to reports....but hey, anything for the agenda, right?).................and

If you are talking about the refugees
Aug 7, 2016 5:29AM PDT

Let's get the facts straight......very few of those refugees are able to be 'checked out' and 'vetted' because they flee so quickly they have no documentation, and sources where those documents would be held have been bombed, burned, or destroyed already. ISIS has already had many infiltrations and have said they would do it....ask other countries for proof that it's happened to them already with devastating results. According to this administration it takes '18 months' to 'vet' them, but we already have somewhere around 10,000 (probably more) here in the States, but they only started bringing them about a year ago with many more on their way. How does that compute with their '18 month' statements? In addition to this, none of these refugees are going into well off communities....they are all being dumped into poorer neighborhoods, without any warning to the local governments who will have to support them. In Virginia alone, nearly all of them have gone into Charlottesville, Roanoke, and Newport News....where the median income is below $50,000 per year. NONE have gone into any neighborhoods near or around Washington DC, and those are ALL notoriously Democrat and extremely wealthy areas. Another example of "we're gonna bring them here for humanitarian reason, BUT they won't be coming into MY neighborhoods AND we're going to make poor, local governments pay the tab".

They've done the same thing with released by the thousands prisoners recently.

IF these refugees are so safe, JP, why isn't Canada 'importing' more of them? Obviously YOU would welcome them, so why not put your name up as a sponsor for a few? Why aren't ANY of the Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan,, etc. taking them in?

RE:why isn't Canada 'importing' more of them?
Aug 7, 2016 6:04AM PDT

More than the United Stats of America?

Only Germany has made more official spaces formally available than Canada. Just under one million Syrians, though, have sought asylum in European countries, meaning they've travelled on their own and have claimed refugee status upon arrival. Some have UN refugee status, some don't. Since July 2013 and until the end of last year, 1,502 Syrian nationals already in Canada have requested, and received, refugee status.

When a country treats a certain group as "terrorists"...they help to create "terrorists".

You think the Dems treat you like dirt....you treat them like dirt...see how it works?

Syrian "nationals"
Aug 7, 2016 7:32AM PDT

over a two year period of time have requested and received refugee status. Why now? Why not when they first came to Canada, and when exactly WAS that? How long had they actually BEEN in Canada prior to July 2013 since they were obviously there prior and NOT as refugees. So how many SINCE 2013 has Canada taken in since that's pretty much when Syria began falling apart and millions have fled with ISIS infiltrating the refugees?

To quote you.....when a country treats a certain group as 'terrorists'...they help to create 'terrorists'. Hasn't Syria treated ANY group that resists their government as 'terrorists' (with Russia agreeing with them)? The USA has thousands and thousands of people who 'resist' our government......we don't refer to them as terrorists, UNTIL some jackoffs decide to BECOME terrorists, JP. Canada has already had a few terrorist attacks.....were any of them Syrian nationalists (now designated by Canada as refugees?

It doesn't MATTER how you treat them....if they ARE terrorists already before coming to your country and pretend not to be in order to get here or BECOME terrorists once they arrive, they ARE a threat in any event....and they are a threat no matter what country they get to. Just ask France, Germany, Belgium, the USA, Canada, England, etc. Caution should be the norm, NOT the 'new normal' of expected terrorist attacks that liberals would have you believe and accept.

All new.....good luck
Aug 7, 2016 12:29PM PDT

Are they mainly settled in poorer areas, like 'ours' are? Does Canada let local governments know ahead of time how many are coming to their communities so objections can be made? Our leader doesn't....he just dumps them and local governments find out after the fact. Are they settled into communities that assimilation takes place or are they isolating themselves into their own 'little' communities where they aren't bothering to learn Canadian cultures and languages? How was Canada able to 'vet' them before taking them in or did they even bother trying? We already know that places like Germany didn't bother and they've already been hit a number of times by embedded ISIS members shortly after their arrival. Has Canada experienced any attacks that haven't reached the USA media? Does Canada expect to experience any or are these refugees being monitored carefully as to their activities or even their whereabouts now that they are 'in country' and are they able to travel freely, including across the border to the USA? How many benefits are they receiving from Canada that taxpayers are paying for? "Our" refugees are receiving many that our own citizens can't qualify to get.

reported what he was observing, begged for help, and died waiting for a response from someone who was not only his 'friend' but the ONLY person responsible for getting him the help or getting him the hell out of that situation. He hadn't been attacked 'yet' but he was 'paranoid' enough to know he was going to be. Observation does nothing when it is ignored by those who are responsible for keeping you safe, JP....those who are responsible are NOT supposed to DELIBERATELY put you in harm's way, even if there is only the SLIGHTEST chance that you WOULD be. Why do you think those possible dangers are nowhere near THEM?

Do YOU get it? Evidently not since they aren't in YOUR backyard, right? WOULD you get it if they WERE? Or would you keep 'observing' and hope for the best, when yesterday you didn't even have to 'observe'? Is 'observing' going to be considered to be 'profiling' and 'politically incorrect' now, too?

AGAIN with the "600 requests"
Aug 8, 2016 6:53AM PDT
600 ‘requests’ from Benghazi for better security: What this statistic really means

But while GOP members often have frequently shorthanded the information as “600 requests,” the correct phraseology is “requests and concerns,” as shown in the chart below, which was displayed during the hearing. The chart suggests that all of these requests and concerns were from Benghazi to Washington (i.e., “the State Department&rdquoWink. A “concern,” however, is different than a “request.”

Officials could not provide a breakdown of the number of requests versus the number of concerns. Left unstated is the fact that at least some of these requests were actually fulfilled.

“It is incumbent upon the Board, however, to acknowledge that several upgrades and repairs took place over 2012. DS provided additional funding for the Local Guard Force (LGF), February 17, and residential security upgrades, including heightening the outer perimeter wall, safety grills on safe area egress windows that helped save the life of ARSO 1 on the night of September 11, concrete jersey barriers, manual drop-arm vehicle barriers, a steel gate for the Villa C safe area, some locally manufactured steel doors, sandbag fortifications, security cameras, some additional security lighting, guard booths, and an Internal Defense Notification System.”

Many media reports, however, have incorrectly stated that officials in Benghazi made 600 requests for security to Washington — and that all of those requests were denied.

More babble bull from you
Aug 8, 2016 7:17AM PDT

Unmentioned in that link is the fact that a bomb/rocket had already blown a hole large enough to walk through in one of the outside walls of that building. Unmentioned regarding those windows was the fact that they could not be opened from the inside, which killed two people from smoke inhalation because they couldn't escape the 'safe room'. Left unmentioned is that ALL requests for added security were denied, no matter how many there were (and if they were 'concerned' enough to need more security, were they just observing and being paranoid?). Left unmentioned is the fact that not only the UK closed their quarters and brought people home but so did the Red Cross just days prior to the attack that killed Stevens. Left unmentioned is the fact that not only were requests for more security denied, but the existing security force was denied an extension and shipped home, leaving Stevens with NOTHING except LOCAL forces that were actually 'spies' for the terrorists that attacked and left the building completely unprotected.

This report is another piece of Dem crap to keep covering their a$$es and there has been testimony to prove everything I've just pointed out.

Since you have nothing about my post that you are able to comment on, I'll leave it all here.

Aug 7, 2016 12:35PM PDT

"The statistics are grim, however. The unemployment rate for foreign-born men between 16 and 64 in Malmö is 30%, compared with 8% nationally. For foreign-born citizens between 18 and 24 it is 41%. The average annual income in 2014 for citizens born in Iraq was 53,000 kronor (£4,000), according to Statistics Sweden, compared with 285,000 kronor (£23,000) for those born in Sweden.

Almudafar is sceptical. Many of those he has backed over the past 14 years have gone from nothing to owning major businesses, he points out. Greg Dingizian, a property developer who is one of Malmö’s richest men, came to Sweden as a child from Baghdad. Officially unemployed people have jobs in the black economy, while many businesses under-report earnings to avoid Sweden’s punitive taxes."

These are stats for 'foreign born'.....but are pretty similar to the stats we have for blacks in this country since illegal immigration has skyrocketed under this administration.

the refugees and illegals that are living here in the USA as 'guests' of this country......they seem to be living pretty well now compared to what they had in their own countries and have more benefits than our own citizens are eligible for. The same seems to be happening in Sweden only in reverse.....their 'guests' live in poverty for the most part compared to the normal income level of Swedish citizens. Makes you wonder how long it will be before the 'guests' revolt' against their 'adopted' country and demand 'social justice'. Here, it's the opposite.....the illegals protest with demands for more, Black Lives Matter protest and cause destruction of property and encourage killing of police over lies, prisoners are set free by the thousands and 'refugees' are dumped on unsuspecting communities for a personal agenda of liberals, etc.

That's an awful lot of 'observation' that communities have to undertake to be safe and have had dumped on their shoulders because of liberal attitudes and agendas. AND it's all done in areas AWAY from where the politicians and leaders live.

How far from YOUR house is the nearest Syrian Refugee living? IF you even know of one.

How many are living there?

Have YOU had ANY interaction with them?

How many Syrian refugees have you seen on the street in your town/city in Virginia?

Considering there are only 10,000 refugees being accepted in a population of 330 MILLION, it's very difficult for them to live "next to everybody". So consider yourself one of the chosen few if/when you're lucky enough to have a refugee as a neighbour.

http://wsls.com/2016/08/04/roanoke-now-home-to-21-syrian-refugees/

Roanoke Mayor Lea is a Democrat and our Governor is a Democrat....my town is controlled by a Democrat Board of Supervisors so I would venture a guess that they would accept any sent here as well, but we have no jobs to offer them so the local town of less than 10,000 would support them financially, just as Roanoke is doing now. Roanoke is a normal sized 'large' town but still pretty poor and look at the goodies they are being given on taxpayer dime that Roanoke citizens can't get.

We have to be right every time when stopping a terrorist attack, a handful of those 10,000 only have to be 'right' once. No thanks. The risk isn't worth it.

IF Dems were really serious about their humanitarian efforts, let them put them all up in the Washington DC area where the wealthy 1%ers reside and let THEM do the 'observing'. After all, it's ONLY 10K of them....they'll fit easily into the 'mainstream' wealthy neighborhoods.
