Ah, teaching your son to "be a man"?

Police have arrested two Michigan parents they say beat a 73-year-old school crossing guard after he tried to break up a fight between their son and another 7-year-old boy.

Lt. Noel Garcia says the next morning the parents drove to the area, let out their son and told him to beat the other boy.

Garcia says the couple's 7-year-old punched the other child, knocking him to the ground. When the crossing guard intervened, Garcia says the couple attacked him.

A friend is a baseball fanatic, has attended hundreds

of Toronto Blue Jays games over the years. He has noticed that the Season Opener here is attended by a lot of teens through twenties couples, the girl half of which will get into a verbal altercation with another girl, eventually provoking a brawl between the males. This happens a number of times during the game, and the people involved or making noise get ejected which seems to be the reason for the whole thing. There appear to be bragging rights that attend getting thrown out of the Season Opener for fighting. And both couples benefit because there is no winner, so they both get to claim victory. "Yeah, if they hadn't pulled me out from under him I would have kicked his ***."
