Question

Is it worth it buying an iPhone X 256GB for $250?

Oct 29, 2018 8:01AM PDT

There's nothing wrong with the phone, the price is that low, because our friends don't need this phone and they sell it, because they are going to buy an iPhone XS Max, is that a good deal? The iPhone is in perfect conditions, Ive seen the phone, its working properly and it its like new, i got an iphone 7 right now and i wanted to upgrade, and they offered me this deal, is it worth it?

Answer
If it's for real, maybe. Here's why.

Some were subsidized and you can't change carriers and are stuck making payments for the service.

Until the details are known it's either a great deal or not so great.

You can change carrier, to which you want!

Im from Bulgaria and they say that this phone is bought from the USA and works with any carrier.

If true, a deal.

But the stories continue to show up where the phone was unlocked then some reset or firmware upgrade happens the the lock is reinstated. The story repeats very often but it's cheap so you could resell it for that much for a time.

iPhone X 256GB at this price is quite unbelievable even if it belongs to your friend. I would suggest you to check it completely. And if it is really the case, it is dead cheap and not to miss the offer.

This family has a lot of money, the man is a truck driver in the USA, and the woman is from Bulgaria, and he has a lot of money, and he wants to buy her woman a new iPhone XS MAX, and they want to sell their iPhone X fast, so they are giving it to us for like 250$, 500 levs in our country. Ive seen the phone, it's like brand new, its not fake or clone...its from Apple with warranty!

I know folk like that.

In fact my old gear usually gets re-homed rather than sold. Or it's done for so low a price that everyone knows there is no warranty or support included, implied etc.

In my past I ran repair shops, computer stores and there was always that one buyer that would format the OS drive and demand it fixed for free. Glad to be out of that meat grinder.
