There's a choice?

Here in merry old England we have Sky Digital Satellite or NTL (Telewest in some areas) Cable. Sky is great hundreds of channels and digital recording with Sky+ (I love it) but also has monopoly so basically picks a number at random and charges that amount cos it can. Cable on the other hand is expensive because it has no original channels just has 80% of the Sky channels and the internet service is only better than ADSL if you want to run a server or something... they offer 786k-4Mb down and 1-2Mb up, whereas ADSL offers 1-8Mb down and 256k-1Mb up. when ADSL and Sky are cheaper than cable with better services, there's no real choice.
