But you don't say what you do get.

Does the system boot up from the CD, or is it bypassing the CD? Do you see the Windows Setup screen? If not, what do you see?

To boot from a CD the computer's BIOS needs to recognise the CD drive as a boot device. Most BIOSs do nowadays, but for some you need to enter the BIOS and change the boot order to add the CD drive to the top of the list. Have you done that?

Why do you need to repair your machine? You didn't say, and neither have you given any details of the computer as requested.
