the whole deal

i have a acer laptop and thats all i really know about this thing. it doesnt have any antivirus or anything like that. i dont know anything about computers and pretty sure my computers loaded with viruses. please help me to find something to help with it all.

First and foremost... get anti-virus software...

without delay.

Then... download "Malwarebytes Anti-Virus" and run it. Quarantine anything found. Next download and run "SUPERAntispyware". You can Google for these... download from the author.

Both are free and come in handy to run from time to time.

Or....Try An Online Scan For Starters...

Click on the link below and run the online scan it provides.. If there are any types of malware on the computer, it should find quite a few:

F-Secure Online Scanner

After a good start, then move on to the onboard antivirus and antispyware scanners listed by Glenn above.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
