Use google and ubuntuforums to search for the solution.
I'm an active member of the Debian and Free BSD communities. I'm a member of the Florida Linux Users' Group. I talk Linux and BSD. It's used to fix people's computers that I know.
There is so little discussed on here that couldn't be accessed with a better solution, community involvement, and support than can be accomplished by visiting a forum dedicated to a certain distribution or release.
Myriads of mailing lists, IRC channels, and webpages are dedicated to Linux, BSD, and other *nix systems. Going here for anything more than a reference to another source makes as much sense as buying eggs one at a time: You're wasting time and resources.
Advertise in future your Mandriva in http://forums.cnet.com/windows-xp-forum/ they may be still interested. IMO here you advertised it already enough.
