Question

The way to use server simultaneously on 2 and more accounts.

Sep 19, 2018 3:39AM PDT

Hey!

I'm playing at game server which allow using few accounts at once but I can't use them at same place. If I'm near each other I got the msg like "Multi Client was detected. Automatic 5 sec exhaust." and I can use just 1 account cause other got exhaust. When I log from other PCs but with same network connection got same problem, only way is to log in to 2 pcs with other IPs BUT!
My friend can use all kind of multi clients even 10 at 1 PC and his home network setup is like "ADSL Street Connection > Filter > Phone/Modem > HUB > Router".
I'm so curious why he can use it and I can't, how does it work, any ideas? (I'm layman about Computer Networks)

Have a nice day,
LoK

That's a question for webmaster of that server.

What is your home network setup?

Can't rlly ask webmaster of this server because that's what he wants to not let ppl use multi clients near each other.
I got 2 other connections 1 for me (fiber optic link just with router that is blocked for me can't even enter settings) and 1 for my brother (ADSL connection with router in which I can change all I wanna)

Then compare the settings as your friend has them with yours. If the server handles them different, there must be a difference.

As well as that server's rules as you could get banned.

That aside since it detects your Internet IP the only workaround would be your second login would be from another PC that was using a VPN. I will not elaborate on this since you must self support.
