Since the question and its poser were roundly belittled as too obscure I just thought I'd identify it for anyone who might have been interested.

it seems kind of disingenuous for you now to intercede. Since you and your two happy chums ensured the thread would be locked, how could anyone else have asked?
The point, to reiterate is that I have talked this way since public school and haven't had to justify myself for it since I finished High School. I was brought up by well educated and well spoken parents and I actually have friends who like the way I speak. I can't help what you like or don't like, but I'm not about to change at this late date, and for what? To get a good word from you and your cronies? I'd have to die first and even then I doubt you'd find anything nice to say.
