The ultimate showdown of internet usage | Kids Vs. Adults

Jan 21, 2009 1:53AM PST

I seem to recall Tom suggesting that adults "Pwnd" kids when it comes to internet addiction. Well I am writing in to defend my honor, and the honor of all the kids of Buzz Town. Firstly, you seem to be com pairing apples to oranges. You say that the hour and a half average of kids is meager to your mighty average of ten hours and fifteen minutes hours (Tom, Ariel, Cooley, and V's time averaged), but this survey is taking the times of ALL types of kids. Your average time is based on four people who have all worked for CNET! Doesn't that seem a little unfair? Also, while you are on the internet all day at work, we kids are forced to go to school, therefor limiting our valuable internet time!

For this reason, I issue a challenge to you, BOL adults, in the name of all the kids of Buzz Town to list your internet usage on an average Saturday in this thread. The kids of Buzz Town shall do this as well and when all the times are in we can average them and finally see who the real n00bs of BOL are...

My time

My time on a typical Saturday is around ten hours.

Also, sites like Hulu don't count, video games don't count, but YouTube does count

As a fellow Buzztown Minor, (even though technically a Jewish Adult, but that doesn't amount to anything) I have to disagree with Tom, Cooley, Jason, Molly, Veronica, i don't even know anymore. My average internet time per weekday is probably at least 3 hours. not including Hulu and other content sites, or school related internet work. Weekends, at least 5 hours+. And if I counted Hulu, like 5 hours weekdays and 7+ weekends. So kids rule, and adults drool (had to put that in just to prove my kiddege.) And Jason, Barack-amole on twitter, really? Really? And I can beet your meager average of 10.5 hours, with school work, so ha!
