Yep, its a shame. The fall out from 9/11

It brought back memories Angeline. When I was a Senior in a class of 9 students, (3 boys and 6 girls) from a small Hick town, Round Lake, NY (12 Miles south of Saratoga) We went on a field to NYC and climbed the long spiral stairs to the windows. Lot of fun back then.

There were 6 students in my husband's graduating class, and they made their Senior Trip in one car.

I forget where, but it wasn't far away.

Anyway, I have not had the pleasure to visit Lady Liberty.

We did fly over her on the day after her big celebration (anniversary? restoration? ), and could see the long ships that had paraded in her honor.
