So what was your take on last night's episode? The dream sequences started to annoy me after awhile. OK....he's in some kind of purgatory and can't get home (e.g. out of his coma). I GET IT ALREADY.

Will he spend the entire season in a coma? I hope not. Will AJ end up on a slab by the end of the season? (I'm guessing yes -- he was destined to go to work for his father since he's just too useless for anything else). Will the rest of the crew kill each other off in a power struggle? Will those two Feds turn Chris and get him to rat?

Discuss.

that's usually the case, don't you think?

However I liked this episode. I think it is interesting what A.J. is going through. I have a strong feeling that Tony will hook him up (without Carmela knowing) to some club.

I liked the part when he got out of the precinct. It was very good acting and pretty emotional for being The Soprano's.

I heard Toni had an accident while driving a motorscooter.

Vito rides a hog, toni rides a vespa, go figure.

But I did a search on the Sopranos and it got me to the wikipedia that linked to the episode guide (which I didn't know was out as far as what's going to happen yet) and there it is! It's like having taped a sports show and when you turn on the TV you hear the result from a news reader! GRRRRRR!

I like that they keep you in suspense and that they don't reveal too much in each episode, but this last one was a little too much about Vito Spatafore. I don't know to what extent he will have any influences in the final episode, but I doubt he will have as much as they seem to give him.

I also missed Paulie and Christopher a bunch this week! Without them (or with little of them) it just doesn't seem the same. However, Tony's therapy sessions were absolutely hilarious (they usually are, but this time I really LMAO!)!

...especially with only a couple of episodes left. The scene with Vito and the fender-bender last night was to remind us that he's not a good guy.

All the stuff with Janice last night was hilarious.

of two men kissing on the lips caused me to go outside and smoke a cig until over.

Something I missed the point of is why Toni wanted to cancel the strong arm pressure his wife desired him to give the city building inspector for the house she is building.

Not knowing where AJ was, Meadow and the boyfriend, and Tony not getting his home made supper. They all add up.

His talk with Meadow, and telling her to talk things over with Carm, so he wanted Carm to pay more attention to the family than to her business.

A couple of things that I thought of from last episode.

When Sil is cleaning the carpet and says "These must be rat turds. We better get the exterminator here". - Could it be that there is a "rat" at the Bing? If that is the case does he refer to whoever told Phil where Vito was. I don't know if that might have been Chris (who claimed to be going to an AA meeting) or Paulie (who didn't look too happy by the fact that Vito was back in town). Or was it the guy who borrowed money from him? One of the guys said (and that was pretty funny but extremely rude) that he regretted that he didn't borrow money from him... Or maybe none of them! Whoever it is is going to get hell from Tony.

Also, I found it "funny" that when they get Vito, Phil comes "out of the closet"... He was in the pen for 20 years and may as well have experience. LOL!

Then I actually heard somebody else saying that he thought that the pen Tony got from Johnny's BIL might have been a microphone... What do you think?

Oh one more thing that I didn't understand. Why would Tony first tell AJ to go to that job the next day and be there at 7 sharp and then crash the windshield of the car that he needs to get there? Unless the construction site is around the corner from their house of course...

Watch it again.......

Tony told Phil where Vito was.

Tony got a call on his cell from Vito:"Have you thought about my offer"? Tony told him to meet him at the motel.

Phil is in the motel room when Vito arrives.

ANd IRL they're not very funny, but when watching the show one cannot but laugh at them and sometimes even feel sympathy!

What do you think the last eight episodes would focus on? I have a feeling that it will be on Carmela figuring out about Adrianna. And to be honest, I felt so bad for her. I really wanted her to stay with Christopher. I also liked her acting a lot.

I wonder if there is going to be some kind of "end" to Dr. Melfi... Tony has always been very rude to her, but I think it has escalated lately and for some reason I feel that she is going to get involved in the whole thing one way or the other, more than she already is, that is!

May 23, 2006 1:33AM PDT

They planned to put the show on so the last episode would coincide with Memorial Day. Good excuse to air it a week later when it's a new month and those who only have HBO for the series have to pay the entire month for one episode...

I haven't seen it from the first seasons but it looks really good! My wife loooks forward to it and it is very possible that we start to watch it as seriously as we do with the Soprano's. Seems to be excellent acting and really god plot!
