How do you like the automated sweep panorama function of your HX1? Do the photos align well and easily? It's always a little painful to use the photo stitch software, so I seldom do panoramic shots.
I recently researched a few digital cameras, a few of the "advanced digital ones". Advanced digital are those that are digital with megazooms of 10, 20 and 24. I chose the Canon SX10 IS. I was VERY disappointed in that camera.
The picture quality is not great, and for that kind of money (roughly 400) it had better be great! Or at least better than my 5 mp camera that is 5 yrs old.
I returned that, as it was not great.. so then I chose the SONY DSC HX1 and I am SO HAPPY! Right off the bat, the pictures are tremendous! and Clear! The zoom is a great feature, and it really takes great pictures for all ends of the spectrum.. macro to megazoom.
Using the Sony HX1 is very easy, and it has very user-friendly interface. I was so happy when I got it home and it was just so right and easy to use! (I'd had trouble with the Canon, the interface is not as easy to use.)
Anyhow, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Sony HX1. It is a tremendous camera!
