SD- Secure Digital. For using in a camera, how do I evoke this security feature (copy-protect and encryption) to protect my photos from being copied ? (They are of commercial value). Thanks.

Instead you can put them into a .ZIP file that has a password on it.

I'm going to decline explaining SD memory card technology and why or how we got here and skip to a solution since the history lesson is not going to help.

...the suggestion on using a password-protected zip file. But then, what is THIS about ?(Googled). Is this feature benificial to manufacturers/sellers of contents, and not to us ordinary consumers ? What if I am a seller of copy-righted contents ? I suspect that I have a misunderstanding somewhere...

Here is a link to the SD Association:

http://www.sdcard.org/home

To manufacture SD cards you must be a member of this Association.

The Association controls all specifications.

You will find some information about the security feature.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
