They had a separate camera focused on his girlfriend for the entire race and she was jumping, screaming, waving the entire race. Then she ran down from the stands climbed over railing and jumped up on the side of the rink.

I think it might be a problem accessing the site from the US. I know some links I send to my sister don't work.

I'll see if I can find a US link.

Something about the content not authorized. I suspect some exclusivity on the part of a TV network who's enforcing their copyright. Maybe the "mounties" have crossed the border to here.

Due to Olympic broadcasting regulations, NBC is only allowed to show Olympic competition video on the internet to users in the United States and U.S. Territories (including Puerto Rico). Users outside of those locations will still have access to an extensive set of non-event video content on NBCOlympics.com including the video listed below.

but won't unload and locks FF here. Need to use task manager to close. Looks like it's produced with Silverlight which is an MS plugin...figures. Anyway, your description was enough.
