The product ID number you entered has expired

i have had vista for a year now.i have lost my license key.put i have product id number.
i went on microsoft web site for help. they ask for product number. it said it as expired? so no help from them. is there any way to find my license number???
and why is my id number expired???
how do i fix this.
for a new license they wont

You didn't say what caused you to contact Microsoft.

If it is still running, you can use Belarc Advisor which will inventory your system setup and list your Vista license number and Product Key.

Unusual to see a Product Key expired. Did you ever Activate this Windows Vista before the normal 30 day trial period?

yes i did. been working great for 7 months. then slowly getting bad.
reg problen. programs not starting. icons moveing.lots of things not right.to day my norton not work, had to uninstall it then put it back in.

that you for the web site it found my license key and lot more. a good little program. now i can install windows vista. if it will let me.
