Question

The parameter is incorrect

Sep 2, 2017 3:16AM PDT

I had a problem with my browser Firefox so downloaded and installed Opera. When Firefox got back to normal I went back to it but could not make it the default again, and had to delete Opera. After this when I boot up the message The Parameter is incorrect comes up every time. I click OK and message goes away, but now attachments do not come through on emails

Best not to just delete but to use the progs uninstaller.
Then look in your C drive for the left overs and delete them.

Is firefox or opera part of your startup group?

Not sure what you mean by start up group. Firefox is on my task bar. I use Windows 7

Start>msconfig>startup

You type msconfig in the search box and hit enter.

If you have a bunch of items in startup with check marks uncheck them all and restart.
If the error goes away then you recheck items until you find the problem.

Did you uninstall opera or just delete it as you said?
