Thicker phone external bodies?

Apparently only 9 users have complained to Apple about the iPhone 6 Plus bending. The stress test looks like the phone is frail at certain parts.

Maybe the others liked it better bent?

I for one would never put my stiff phone in my jeans pocket, but one that is flexible and bends - and then bends back when released - why not?

I don't know if they have been introduces in the US yet, but the European Consumer Electronics Fair all showed bent TV screens as the latest and greatest gimmicks to be had a premium prices. Only, they call them "curved" - I believe Wink

So Apple is a bit behind on their innovation here - not too dramatic I should say. But Steve Jobs would never have allowed this to happen ...

in my jeans pocket. I wonder why people think it's a good idea for a phablet like the iPhone 6 Plus.

My flip phone fits easily in the pocket of my shirt. I love it. I see no reason to use anything else.

Simply because...

...some of us either truly need the extra real estate to work more effectively, or have eyesight that is suffering after thirty years of staring at multiple computer screens daily for a living Wink

(Even more to the point- I sometimes hate even having to deal with a small notebook or the ubiquitous road warrior rig in the trunk. Keeps me balanced Wink ]
