The Mystery of Time And Space.

A wonderful game that takes you from room to room as you find solutions. But BE CAREFUL, it's addictive! Takes a bit of time to load the first time.

Click on ENTER MOTAS. You can get or give help in solving the game via chat if you wish. Right now there are 65 people visiting the site and I don't know the limit.

I got to the third room can't get out, found the box with floppy inside, went back to room with computer to read code but need screwdriver to open box. LOST THE SCREWDRIVER!! How do I get the screwdriver back? - Rosalie

You don't need the screwdriver anymore. You need to click on one of the pins on the flag. You can use the pin to open the floppy case. Then you should be able to figure out the rest...

Now if you can find a way out of the next room, that could be helpful. I've installed the tablets in the machine and can see some buttons but can't reach them. I don't know what to do with the mouse in the case, but it must have something to do with this strange machine...

Machine?
Feb 7, 2004 9:09AM PST

I've captured the 'mouse'/head in the floppy disk box, and I've collected the tiles, but I can't figure out how to unlock the door at the top of the funny ramp.

Never mind ...

I broke down and looked for hints at another web site.

I never could find the right spot to click on at the walkway to open up the access to the machine.

FWIW: Try using the chair if you need to reach higher.

Level 7. Any Ideas???

I never could find the right spot to click on at the walkway to open up the access to the machine. - Bill Osler

I'm stuck at level 7. I wrote and mailed the letter, even though I don't know why. I have 2 of the valve handles but can't find the 3rd or even know if I need it. I can open the drawer but can't see if anything is in it. I've jumped through hoops in this level and am probably close to getting out. But I'm can't figure out what else I need to do...

If you mailed the letter then the wheel should come back in the mail ...
Feb 8, 2004 2:46AM PST

It took a while in my case. I kept clicking to look in the bin.

I don't remember whether there was a message about getting a reply, but after one of my checks for incoming mail there was the wheel in my 'inventory'.

Area 51... (Level 12)

If you mailed the letter then the wheel should come back in the mail ... - Bill Osler

Yes I finally found it and moved on. Now I'm stuck on 2 fronts in Level 12. I'm having trouble with the green wall in the upper level, as well as the console in Area 51. The answer to my problem in Area 51 may be behind the green wall, but it may be a while before I solve that riddle of the green wall...

Feb 8, 2004 5:34AM PST

Ok, I resolved the green wall. Now I have a key, screw driver, and card and have 2 of the 3 laser barriers shut down in Area 51. Now I can't see any place to use any of my tools. I'll get this eventually/hopefully...

This is a great and challenging game...

I suspect it's the anybody but Bush campaign, took longer than I though to show here
Feb 7, 2004 8:19PM PST

Seen it in print and couple of places on web already.

Afterall, someone here said that anyone would be better than Bush. And if there was anyone worse elected it would be ok because we could get rid of them in 4 years.

Instead of campaigning for someone or something, it's a campaign against someone. Not new for politics, standard fare, from all sides.

Don't offer a better choice and persuade people that it is better. Just convince them that the other is worse.

To be fair, for most elections of most offices that is about how many do vote, which candidate is the less bad, because good politicians are ever rarer than the spotted owl.

Asea Brown Boveri, Ltd.

Has a lot of smaller units.

Some of them do most of the boiler rebuild work where I work every year. They do almost all the inside the boiler tube work and welding.

I couldn't remember their name earlier, all you ever see is ABB. They also bought Bailey, which had just bought Rockwell software, which had just bought Allen Brady. And we have a lot bot of controls by all those companies.

Same old refrain one company swallowing up others, bigger and bigger, and the companies that were originaly US headquarters now owe alligience to somewhere in Europe, about 3/4 of them now.

Well the NAFTA and other agreements span several administrations, Republican and Democratic, were discussed in several sessions of Congress, both Rep and Dem dominated, so I doubt if one sides bears more responsibility than the other for a lot of the problem.

International trade and things such as NAFTA might be a necessary future, but I firmly believe it could have been done better, slower for a start, and find ways to make it more viable for businesses to stay here.

Labor costs are often cited, but you'll read sometimes that it's not the majority cause, but only a portion of the problem. Regulations regarding EPA, equal opportunity and discrimination (of all types), and all the rest are cited also. And the sheer volume of record keeping and red tape to prove you're in compliance with all the regulations is quoted as a large inflence also.

Of course, some will point to CEO and Board of Directors that just want to raise their stock payoffs as the main cause. I doubt it's that simple.
