Is to replace the main board and block firmware updates. Samsung offers no way to go to older versions of firmware outside of a board change.
Frankly this would have been a great way to have service blow up. That is, you let Samsung service do the update, blow up and then you demand they fix it.

Today I upgraded the Firmware ( T-MST5DAAC-1016.1 ) on-line of my tv set UA40D5500 after this my set started switching off & on on it's own. ( previously it was working well with old version ) Contacted the samsung support they directed to do factory reset. But still problem is appearing. The support executive has advice me to wait till next version of firmware. Can you tell me when new version is getting g released or can I use any other firmware version. Pl help to resolve the problem
