General discussion

The installer says a page will open after installing, but...

Oct 20, 2009 4:52AM PDT

Nothing hapens. When I open the TechTracker applications and hit "open page" nothing happens as well.

I'm on MacosX 10.5.8 and firefox 3.5.3 is my browser.

When I go under my account and click the my software link, it only shows the techtracker download page. This is true in both Safari and Firefox

This program has the potential to be a great tool, but I can't get it to work.

Did I do something wrong?

Windows XP SP3, Firefox 3.5.3, AVG Internet Security 9.

Installed TechTracker and ran half a dozen or so scans. When I opened the TechTracker applications and hit "open page" nothing happened. When I went to my account and clicked the my software link, it went to the TechTracker download page. Never did see any kind of software list.

TechTracker now uninstalled.

The scan completes and the balloon on the system tray states to click to go to my page, but I am returned to a page to install the software again.

2 months and counting
Dec 24, 2009 3:22AM PST

Its good to see that CNET is really on top of this. After two months and the same result, I am just going to dump their software. They don't really seem to care it does not work and I don't really care if it does work anymore.

Thank you for the reply. I am not going to open a support ticket as I merely uninstalled the software and moved on. I do not plan to try your service in the future so you can consider this matter resolved, as far as I'm concerned.
