Those workers who came to listen to him were kind of forced to go.

Go and you get paid.
Don't go and you get docked.

The last thing management wanted was for 10 workers to show up to listen to the Don.
With his thin skin who knows what might have happened.

Just figure that all candidates have agendas (agendae? agendums?).
Figure also that their campaign promises are hollow prevarications.
Then do the only logical thing.
