The difference between laptops ?

I was just wondering what's the difference between a XPS Gen 2 and a XPS M170 with the 6800 utra ?

There a Inspiron XPS M170 (Newer) (2005) & Gen 2 (2005) and if they have the 6800 Ultra Go and a 2Ghz CPU and 1Gb RAM is there any difference at all ?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
