Can see them fine now. Happy

The Wall Cloud is incredible!

Not being in or from "tornado country," I ask out of curiosity if these are the types of clouds that tornado's are formed from? Pretty awesome no matter what!

One year after the friday May 3rd tornado,
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/oun/storms/19990503/
another 2 came past. Thursdays followed a close path as the may 3rd. The next day, another moved through on my side of town. Off work a couple of hours and listening to a new cd, the phone rang and a female acquaintance asked if I was ready? I said sure, you coming over? Gayle says "No you *******, theres a twister coming and you have about 7 minutes". Alone, thankfully the kids were on the other side of town, I grabbed helmet and my wubby (quilt) and headed for the closet. Missed by 9 houses, bouncing the twister nailed a house here a business there. No electricity. For a week. The next day I got all the kids, there friends over and we charcoiled everything in the fridge and ate, wasnt going to let it go bad. Ive since invested in a generator.

When opportunity presents

Just like the movie "Twister", you have to be in the right spot right time. I dont really have the time to be a storm chaser. The closest, like I said was a few houses away. Night, dark, couldnt see anyways. When it got to the next street(things happen fast), going outside, I thought I had paper debris all in my front yard, after picking some up, they were iris's, all over! Somebodys garden.
