I remembered the story of the man who had survived a large metal spike through his head when I read this. Something from Guiness Book of World Records, or similar. I did a quickie search on Google with "nail in head" as the search parameter. Well, I have to admit, I was surprised at the number of crazy hits on this.

There was the guy who thought he had been "scratched on the head" that surgeons found a 3" nail in his head.
There was the Russian guy that hammered a nail into his head after "hearing voices."
Then there was the Denver contractor complaining of a toothache who went to the dentist. A 4? nail was found in the man?s head that had been there for six days.
Crazy. Just plain crazy.
It is these kinds of stories that makes one reflect and say, "Well, maybe my life and my family isn't so weird after all." ![]()
