The Cleaner

Does anyone familiar with The Cleaner anti-trojan software know why it would only scan 75000 files on my system during a system scan when Norton AV scans about 120000 files?
Shouldn't The Cleaner scan everything?

count the number of files scanned differently.

For instance, for a zip file containing 10 files, Norton AV will count as 11 files scanned. Other programs may only count it as 1 for the zip file and ignore how many files are within, or may count the 10 files within and ignore counting the original zip file.

As long as you have your scanning programs set to scan all files and inside compressed files, it will scan all files on your system, but to have an identical number of files scanned is highly unlikely.
