The Blue Zone????

NOTE: this topic is also post in the Wireless section

Just last week a new internet service posted signs all over my neighborhood. It's called The Blue Zone ( www.thebluezone.com ). The offer a broadband wireless conntection. I looked the up on the net and their technology consists of a transmitter capable of a 12 mile range, but they limit it to 1/2 mile for good signal strength, then they mount a receiver on your house, a modem or some other device, then it runs to your router or computer. No phone line or underground cable needed.
Their advertised monthly service price is 19.95 for 256K service and about 35.00 for 1MB.

Has anyone seen this before?
Does anyone have this service?
Is it any good?
