The best year for videogames on South America

May 26, 2006 12:28PM PDT

I know most of the people here are not from south america like, wich is bad since you can't have a monkey as pet and you can't live in a treehouse like me Silly

This year is probably going to be the best one for videogames here. Microsoft has announced that we'll have official Xbox 360 realease in Brazil, Colombia (already there) and Chile.

Nintendo also announced today that we'll have official sales of the Nintendo Wii here. The console will be out on the same day that it'll be out on USA.

Now we are just short on Sony PS3.

Great news for people here that might be able to buy a Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 for cheap. Just for the record, the Xbox 360 premium is being selled here on some imports store for over Us$ 1.000

ROFL

Not really, I live in a 10 floor bulding in the biggest city of South America Grin

But when I lived in Canada and told people that I was from Brazil I got a lot of stupid questions, like:

Is there any car in Brazil?
Does cable TV exist in Brazil?
Have you ever seen a microwave?
Have you ever lived in a treehouse?

And my favorite one. Do you eat monkey brain?!

So I like to make fun of those situations... Happy
Ps. I got in trouble for answering the monkey brain one, but it's quite funny.

Iam from Argentina, and I have had a lot of people ask all sorts of idiotic questions, such as if we had Coca-Cola, computers, VCRs, etc.
Some people are SO oblivious of the world around them!
