A better card only affects the read and write speed, and the amount of data it can hold. If you are getting poor image results in low light or harsh lighting, it is because you are not using the proper exposure or technique. The brand or type of card has no bearing on image quality. The only thing you should be cautious of is counterfeit cards. If a card has a very low price, I'd be suspicious. Best to buy from reputable sources.
I have been using my DSLR camera for over 4 years but now trying different ideas to improve the results of my photography by examining the CF cards. I have been reading all that is possible about the various cards but finding that most seem to be promoting their product. There does not seem to be a set standard for these flash cards. Early on I caught the info that the Sundisk Ducati was the very best but now reading that the 400x is very professional. I need a good guide line on how to evaluate these flash cards. Most of my photography that needs attention is in low light or a TV studio with harsh lighting.... HELP ME !!
