Thanks Alex and a notice for 3-D enthusiasts...

Right now through the beginning of September (the 6th I've read) anyone can download a free copy of Bryce 5.0 from CNet Download.com. Bryce used to be the premiere program for creating 3-D environments and is still pretty darn good. Registration is required along with a second download of plug ins after initial installation.

I will warn folks with Macs that the free download only works for Panther and not Tiger. The free PC download has no reported bugs.
