I want to say thanks to the Moderator who forwarded the info so a meet could be arranged with Glenda.

I met with Glenda and her Daughter-in-law, who drove her to the meet we set-up. Excellent visit. It was a nice day meeting with two very nice Ladies. My Wife and I enjoyed meeting with Glenda very much. She is having a wonderful time in NH. God help you guys when she gets back. Happy

Its always nice to meet with people from different parts of the country.

I enjoyed our visit very much! Your wife is one great lady:) Karen told me on the way back that the two of them were looking at each other wondering what we meant
when talking gigabytes LOL
Was nice to meet the two of you and put a face to a name in SE, Thanks for driving up to visit:)

"Its always nice to meet with people from different parts of the country."

Last 4th of July we met Nick at Night in a Las Vegas casino lounge, had some good laughs, talks, drinks, and entertainment. He is from Hawaii and has not posted here in SE for some time.

We will be in Vegas the first part of next month for a few days if anyone else from SE will be there.

"God help you guys when she gets back." Yes, we know, but can handle it. I used to holler in the air, "hello Glenda" when we drove near Apache Junction. The hot air around that area blocked the sound. Wink

I remember how nice it was to meet with Angeline a few years back. Greg and I had a most enjoyable chat...and the lady cooks a mean Tennessee Brunswick Stew! To top it off, Buddy was a perfect doggie.

Yes, faces with names changes things a bit, but for the better I think!

Right on, Cindi! My only regret was the time passed so quickly, and was much too short!

I thoroughly enjoyed the peanut butter pie you made, as well.

And I fondly remember the many laughs!

The selection of hot sauces that Jeff W. sent were the perfect addition to the stew!

Bo and The Redhead visited last year. The only bummer was that we had set Monday for sight-seeing, and the Parthenon was closed! Also the restaurants stopped serving for lunch earlier than expected. e got a kick out of the only place we found was a Mexican one as they live in Texas.

AND I was having so much fun talking that I forgot to start dinner. Sad So we went with leftovers.

Wonderful memories!

Guess as I rush through Tenn, I'll have to holler out the window

Chuckling, but I can holler really loud.

Going to be going through Tennesee in couple of weeks, driving her car back here after wedding. But fraid we're pushing it through your state a bit fast. Trying to get from Paris Texas to Chattanooga from Monday noon to Tuesday night. Then plan to slow down and enjoy the mountains on the way home for 2 or 3 days. We both enjoy mountains.

One of these days, going to be going by some of ya'll on a leisurely basis and make time to swap some lies over lunch.

I remember that and you posted (or a link) some photo's of that visit with your fairly new hubby.

I called on the phone and spoke to Angeline a few years back while visiting Nashville.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
