In reply to: Angeline, did you

... no, I didn't. 15 minuts is just about all my memory will handle. Happy

But only in rare cases do we say who did. Otherwise, that mod or mods will be thought to be ...shhhh... whisper...conspirators. Also, not only SE mods delete here.

So I can't tell you why. Suffice it to say that when it is determined that a response/post is baiting and just spoiling for a fight, it's easier to nip it in the bud than spend a lot of time cleaning it up later. Trying to give each a chance to respond.

Yes, I know that a lotof people are guilty, you and me included. Sure can't catch them all. Sometimes it's just pure luck before a thread gets a mile long in a matter of a few minutes.

The floor of the forum is littered with chips knocked off shoulders, crying towels, cheap shots, arrows, etc.

Damn trailer trash. Better keep them down.

Are we sending Hillary back to Dogpatch too for her potty mouthed tirades?

What have I said that was so bad and who was I representing when I said it?

GW was representing USA in a top meeting when he said it. Although many members here take themselves so seriously that you could easily get the impression they thought they were at the G8, that is NOT the case jonah and you should know it as a moderator...

as a moderator?

In reply to: Why?

strange how some of you people seem to think that a little red "M" is supposed to change our views/opinions/how we read peoples posts....

my point was (as jonah, NOT as a mod) that as you seem to speak (putting it as clearly as possible) "broken" English, you would be the last person here to criticise the (not 'a') language used by Bush....

In reply to: Huh???

Letterman has never liked Pres Bush being elected. Notice he has some sort of 'joke' or belittlement of the Presidents speaking almost every night.

Dave did the same to Clinton when he was President. That's his job.

Personally I didn't think the cuss word was that big a deal.

much against Bush BEFORE and DURING the election, making it well known on his show...I like him and watch almost everynight switching between him and Leno, as they come on a half hour difference between the two in this city.

Yeah, agree, cuss words are used by many Presidents, believe Harry Truman was one of the better flamboyant users.

Last night they showed the President coming up behind German leader Merkel and giving her a "two handed neck rub" while she was sitting at the table.

She looked surprised and threw her arms up.
