Question

Text Size

Dec 15, 2013 7:36AM PST

I just retired my XP desktop for a laptop with Windows 8
and am experiencing a very awkward transition. And I
don't have the time for re-education. My immediate need at this time is: the text size of my inbox suddenly
went from normal size to the tiniest I've ever seen.
I spent over an hour trying to enlarge it to no avail.
I know the experts in this forum can solve my problem
in a snap. Help please. Thanks.

Don't understand what other information you need. I am using yahoo, com and
aol.com for my email. I have 2 separate id's. And when I read my mail the text
is very small and very difficult to read on both of them.

HOW do you get to Yahoo & AOL?
Dec 16, 2013 9:33AM PST

Do you use Windows Live Mail, do you use Internet Explorer? Do you use Outlook from Office? Do you use Thunderbird? Do you use Firefox? Do you use Chrome? Do you use the AOL desktop?

So many possibilities, and the answer depends on which one you're using. It's not rocket science. Did you notice the red text that comes up right above the "Submit Reply" button? Try reading it.

An email client is a program that runs on your computer and connects to an email server, AOL and Yahoo in your case, and downloads email onto your computer.
Examples of email clients include, but are not limited to, Outlook, Outlook Express, Mail, Entourage, SeaMonkey & Poco Mail.
All the above are installed on your computer.

I believe that your method of retrieving your email is to launch a Web Browser, IE or Firefox for example, and go to the AOL website and log in. Mail from Yahoo.com is collected in the same way.

Does that help?
