Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Microsoft System Information (tool), and then click Tools on the "Menu" bar. Select the, Internet Explorer Repair Tool, [Q194177].
Recently the text in the title bar of web pages as displayed by IE 6 shows only as a row of little squares, sometimes with some punctuation. The same for the page title as displayed in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
This was not the case until about two weeks ago, nothing else is wrong (surfing, e-mail, etc. all working fine), and this peculiarity does NOT show up when a page is displayed in Netscape, where the title is shown properly. Any ideas?
