What you wrote about sounds like a key logger which are frowned upon today since such could log passwords.
Open Office used to have a text buffer I loved called "Resurrection" -- EVERYthing your typed went into an independent buffer, which saved about 2 pages of text. Ever written a brilliant email then accidentally deleted the whole thing? (Just deleted the last phrase here TWICE and had to retype it,.) It would be in Resurrection. Just copy and paste. I know "undo" is useful but not for sentences or entire paragraphs, or more. Resurrection worked with ANY text souce. I can't find it at the LibreOffice and affiliate sites anymore. Is there anything like that on CNet? Or does anyone know of anything like it anywhere else? Many thanks.
