Using the Galaxy s3 with Virgin Mobile.

It's looking to me that VM has disabled the hotspot option in the phone. All the advice online says go to "Settings > More settings> tethering.

I got as far as Settings. But saw no "More Settings/ "Tethering" option. So I'm assuming the worst.

What are my options to get around this bs? Thx!

I am a little bit confused. Tethering is a hardware feature that allows you to use your smarphone as a router and run internet in another gadget. But as you are having this issue, I am confused in the sense that how a hardware can be enabled/disabled by the telecom network providers.

Folk are discussing this area so let's keep it simple. You got a phone from someone, and it's features are not under our control. Very confusing to folk new to cell phones?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
